FAQs
How long will my piercing take to heal?
Please view our minimum healing times list above.
Factors that can affect the healing times include; health conditions, taking medication, alcohol and drug consumption.
When would I be able to change my jewellery?
All piercings have different healing times so it is best to ask the piercer about when it is advisable to change jewellery .
Can I get my piercing wet?
Swimming pools and jacuzzis -
We recommend waiting a minimum of 2 weeks before swimming or getting into a jacuzzi. This is due to the possibility of bacteria entering the wound and causing an infection.
Sea water
Salty water can help the healing process; however, sea water has a very high concentration of salt and can cause what is called Salt burn so it is advisable to clean your new piercing after bathing in the sea.
